On Monday, May 12, 2025, as part of the Career Days event organized by our department, we had the pleasure of hosting two distinguished professionals from the aquaculture industry.

We welcomed Mr. Kara, General Manager of Karsom Aquaculture, and Mr. Küçükçoban, Regional Manager of Kanyon AKUA İzmir. Mr. Kara shared his knowledge and experience on mooring and cage systems, while Mr. Küçükçoban delivered a comprehensive presentation on vaccination and grading practices in the aquaculture sector.

Following their presentations, both speakers answered students’ questions and offered valuable insights into the industry.

After the event, our students and the guest speakers came together in a warm and friendly atmosphere during a social gathering at a local café, providing an enjoyable conclusion to the day. This informal meeting allowed students to engage directly with industry professionals and supported their career development.
