According to this new collaboration model, researchers from Türkiye and Norway will be able to participate in projects submitted as principal investigators to funding programs determined by the funding agency in their collaboration partners’ country, together with their project teams.

Within this scope:

Starting from the first term of 2025, in TÜBÄ°TAK 1001 calls, Norwegian researchers will be able to join projects submitted by Turkish principal investigators as part of the project team.
Turkish researchers, on the other hand, will be able to apply to funding programs determined by RCN as part of the project team.
