The Management Information Systems Department achieved significant success at the 2026 Academic Award Ceremony organized by Karadeniz Technical University. Associate Professor Dr. Murat Kılınç, a faculty member of our department, was awarded the "Youngest Scientist" award for his scientific work and academic performance, while Research Assistant Beyza Güdek and Associate Professor Dr. Fatih Gürcan received the "Best Thesis Award" for their master's theses in the field of social sciences.

These achievements, obtained within the scope of awards given annually by our university to encourage academic success, once again demonstrate the strong position of the Management Information Systems Department in the field of research and scientific production.

Associate Professor Dr. Murat Kılınç's high-quality academic work and scientific publication performance at a young age significantly contribute to our university's research-oriented vision; while Research Assistant Beyza Güdek's award-winning thesis, supervised by Associate Professor Dr. Fatih Gürcan, stood out for its original contribution and scientific quality in the field of social sciences.
