As of the 2025–2026 Academic Year, with 2,187 international students enrolled at our university, an orientation meeting was organized by the Office of International Relations, just as in previous years, to support the adaptation of newly enrolled international students to both our university and the city.

During the meeting, students were informed about the general introduction of our university, the organizational structure of the Office of International Relations, the activities of the Office of International Students, and the Erasmus+ program. Presentations were delivered by the Vice Coordinator of the Office of International Student Affairs, Dr. Fatih YILMAZ, and Lecturer Onur AYDIN, while introductory speeches were made by Coordinator of the Office of International Relations Prof. Dr. Sercan EROL and Coordinator of the Office of International Student Affairs Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tane VERGÄ°LÄ°.

The meeting continued with the presentation of a gift by our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ali TEMÄ°Z to our international student Anka NOOR, who received the “Commercialization Potential Award” at the TEKNOFEST Accessible Life Technologies Competition. After the group photo session, international students had the opportunity to meet and socialize while enjoying the refreshments prepared for them.
