Attention to Students Taking Professional English-II Course!

Assignments and related student list is given below:

Assignments 2018

Given assignment will affect the final grade by 30%.

Students will submit their assignments whether on 14th or 21th of May during the class, depending on their preference day.

Students will prepare a 5-minute presentation prepared via “Powerpoint” explaining the given forestry term. Each student will prepare maximum five slides per given forestry term. (Speaking 1 minute per slide is expected)

Please note that, given terms are related to forestry. Try to avoid explaining the general meanings of the given terms.

The evaluation will based on the following criteria:

  • Powerpoint presentation: 10 points,
  • Explaining the given term with his/her own sentences during the presentation: 50 points

(Here, figures and small texts are expected on each slide, students should not write or read the explanation of given term directly from the screen!),

  • Pronunciation of the words during the presentation: 30 points,
  • Presentation quality (Enthusiasm, mimic etc.) : 10 points.
