The Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering Department at Karadeniz Technical University organized a special Empathy Meeting for its preparatory class students.

During this significant gathering held in the Seminar Hall, students were informed not only about academic matters but also about the department's vision and the exciting opportunities offered by the AI world. The main focus of the meeting included topics such as the historical development of Artificial Intelligence, its current applications, ethical dimensions, and future potential. Additionally, the curriculum, which focuses on data science and machine learning, along with the academic staff and research facilities of the department, were introduced to the students.

The founding academic staff of the department and the new students participated heavily in the meeting. Students' questions regarding their AI and Data Engineering career paths, current trends, and the role of the preparatory process in adapting to the department were sincerely answered.

This event helped the preparatory class students form a strong bond with the department early in their journey, paving the way for a productive, highly motivated, and empathetic start to the new academic term.
