In the accreditation process, the undergraduate program of the department was first accredited by “The Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering Programs” for 2 years in 2009, and the accreditation period was extended for 3 years in 2011. Upon the accreditation application made again in 2014, the department education programs were accredited for 2 years until September 2017. An Interim Evaluation Report dated July 2016 was prepared for the renewal and continuation of the process, and as a result, with the interim evaluation carried out in February 2017, accreditation was carried out under the scope of “Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering Programs” and EUR-ACE until September 30, 2020.

It was accredited for 5 years under the scope of “The Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering Programs” and EUR-ACE, with the evaluation carried out on April 11-12, 2021 (30.09.2021-30.09.2026).
