The Nutrition Support Team at our University's Health Application and Research Center, Farabi Hospital, has become the fourth institution in Türkiye to be entitled to have the "Accreditation Certificate."

The Turkish Society of Clinical Enteral & Parental has initiated the "Project for Accreditation of the Nutrition Support Units " to elevate all Nutrition Support Teams nationwide to a certain standard and enhance service and education quality. As part of this project, following the Faculty of Medicine at Hacettepe University, University of Health Sciences -Ankara Bilkent City Hospital, and Faculty of Medicine at Ankara University, the Nutrition Support Team at KTU Health Application and Research Center, Farabi Hospital, became the fourth institution in Türkiye to earn the "Accreditation Certificate" on December 14, 2023.

Since June 2021, the Nutrition Support Team Members have served over 2000 patients, and regular in-house and external training activities have been planned for physicians, dietitians, and nurses. Additionally, members of the Nutrition Support Team at KTU, including Prof. Dr. Hülya ULUSOY, Asst. Prof. Dr. Melda KANGALGİL, Dietitian Uğur BAYRAMOĞLU, Pharmacist Ahmet Berk UÇAR, Nurse Serpil KANBEROĞLU, and Nurse Sündüz YÜKSEL actively participate in national and international scientific forums. We congratulate and wish them continued success.
