Our university has taken its place at NAFSA 2025 International Education Fair, one of the world’s largest events in the field of international higher education.

Representing Karadeniz Technical University at this major event, which contributes to the university's internationalization vision, are Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Ali TEMİZ and Prof. Dr. Ömer Faruk URSAVAŞ, General Coordinator of International Relations Prof. Dr. Sercan EROL, and Assistant Coordinator of International Relations Asst. Prof. Dr. Hasan İslam ÇOPUROĞLU. This year’s fair, held in San Diego, California, USA from May 27 to 30, 2025, brought together 8,000 participants from 103 countries and has over 11,000 members from more than 170 countries.

During the fair, the KTU team held meetings with many universities and higher education institutions to develop bilateral collaborations, promote undergraduate and graduate-level education programs, and explore opportunities for staff mobility and international joint research projects. As part of the event, the Vice Rectors also met with Francis Joseph RICCIARDONE JR., who served as the U.S. Ambassador to Türkiye between 2011 and 2014. During the meeting, RICCIARDONE JR. extended his best wishes to the "KTU Family."

The KTU team will continue its activities and meetings as part of NAFSA 2025 until May 30, 2025.
