BIOBLACK Project KickOff Meeting

The Kick-Off Meeting of the project BIOBLACK (BSB00794) – “Raising Awareness for the Black Sea People People to Recognize and Protect Black Sea Biodiversity” was held online (via Zoom) on October 13, 2025.
BIOBLACK (BSB00794) is an 18-month project funded by the EU under the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme. The project, running from July 2025 to January 2027, involves partners from Türkiye (lead partner), Bulgaria, and Romania. The main objective of the project is to raise public awareness and protect the biodiversity of the Black Sea.
The meeting was attended by all project partners: the Faculty of Marine Sciences, Karadeniz Technical University (KTU MSF – Türkiye), the Institute of Fish Resources (IFR – Bulgaria), and Mare Nostrum (Romania).
