An information meeting on “Work Permits and Work Permit Exemptions” was held for international students studying at our University on 27 October 2026 at the ReÅŸit TarakçıoÄŸlu Hall of the KTU Atatürk Cultural Centre.

The meeting, attended by officials from the Directorate General of International Labour under the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Labour and Social Security, as well as representatives of the International Student Affairs Office, provided comprehensive information on international students’ employment rights in Türkiye, current regulations concerning work permits and work permit exemptions, application procedures, evaluation criteria, and employment opportunities.

Aiming to raise international students’ awareness of the legal regulations and practices governing employment in Türkiye, the meeting concluded with a question-and-answer segment during which participants’ inquiries were addressed.
