Organized annually by Karadeniz Technical University Industrial Engineering Club, GEN (Shaping Your Future) once again brought students and industry leaders together on February 27-28, 2025, at Prof. Dr. Osman Turan Culture and Congress Center. With more than 400 participants, the event aimed to guide students in their career planning process and ease their concerns about the future by offering valuable insights and networking opportunities.

On the first day, Emre Özer, Senior HR Manager from Turkcell, Elif Karaca, Group HR Manager from Dominos, Ekin Canbaz, Talent Acquisition Specialist from TUSAÅž, and ÇaÄŸrı Selçuk, Trabzon Branch Manager from Garanti BBVA, shared their career journeys and professional experiences. On the second day, students had the chance to meet Asiye Elmas from Akbank, Senanur Ekmen, Recruitment and Talent Management Specialist from LC Waikiki, OÄŸuzhan Gümrük, Senior Exploration Geologist from Eczacıbaşı, Aslı Sezgin, HR Business Partner from Ericsson, and Semir Kuseyri, Senior Vice President of B/S/H/ Turkey.

In addition to the seminars, the GENetworking area provided participants with a chance to meet company representatives, network, and explore products from various brands. Exciting raffles and interactive activities at the foyer area further enriched the event.

GEN 2025, designed to guide students in shaping their careers, offered both valuable insights from industry professionals and a fun, productive environment for all attendees.
