The Industrial Engineering Club of Karadeniz Technical University brought faculty members and students together at this year’s “Coffee Meet.” Designed as an open Q&A session, the event offered an engaging and friendly atmosphere enriched by the faculty’s shared experiences.

As a long-standing tradition of the club, Coffee Meet allows students to get to know their instructors more closely and gain first-hand insights that support their academic and career development.

This year’s event hosted Assoc. Prof. Hüseyin Avni Es (Department Chair), Assoc. Prof. Gökhan Özçelik, Asst. Prof. Fatma Betül Yeni (Vice Chair), Asst. Prof. Yıldız Köse, Research Assistants Dr. Miraç Murat and Aleyna Åžahin.

Throughout the session, faculty members discussed their professional journeys, the realities of academic life, and current developments in industrial engineering, while also answering students’ questions. Students had the opportunity to engage directly with their instructors, making the event highly interactive.
