Times Higher Education (THE), one of the world's most prestigious higher education ranking agencies, has released the 2026 Asia University Rankings. Karadeniz Technical University (KTU) has solidified its position in the global competitive arena, drawing significant attention with its performance in strategic growth areas.

A Leap in Research Quality According to the 2026 results, KTU achieved a remarkable increase in the "Research Quality" category, raising its score from 33.0 to 38.4—a surge of approximately 16%. This upward trend stands as the most critical indicator of the international scientific impact and citation value of the academic studies produced within the university.

Steady Progress in Education and Internationalization Continuously improving its educational standards, KTU also increased its "Teaching" score to 29.3, maintaining its student-oriented development. Furthermore, the rise in the "International Outlook" score reflects the strengthening of the university's global collaborations and international academic engagement capacity.
