WHAT IS ERASMUS DAYS?

In order to promote the Erasmus+ Program, to increase the visibility of the projects related to this program and to encourage potential beneficiaries to benefit from Erasmus+, Erasmus Days events have been organized in October with the participation of our country since 2018; various visibility, dissemination and information activities are carried out in our country and throughout Europe.

Erasmus Days will be celebrated this year with events to be held by beneficiary institutions throughout Europe between 14-19 October 2024.

ERASMUS DAYS AT KARADENİZ TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY

As Karadeniz Technical University, we have been participating in Erasmus Days events since 2018 with the organization of the Office of Exchange Programs.

This year,  KTU Erasmus Days 2024 will be held simultaneously with other universities and institutions around the globe on October 14-15-16, 2024.

EVENT PROGRAM

Day 1 / 6th Traditional Erasmus+ Photo Exhibition
Exhibition Date and Time: Monday, October 14, 2024, 12:00 - 15:00
Exhibition Venue: Faculty of Science Ground Floor

Day 2 / Erasmus+ Information Meeting for Students
Date and Time: Tuesday, October 15, 2024, 14:00 - 15:00
Venue: Faculty of Science Ground Floor, Nazım Terzioglu Conference Hall

Day 3 / Erasmus+ Student Experiences
Date: Wednesday, October 16, 2024
The experiences of our students who have previously benefited from the Erasmus+ program will be shared throughout the day on our website and social media accounts.

ERASMUS+ 6. TRADITIONAL PHOTO CONTEST

Participation Requirements:

Being an active or graduate KTU student. Having previously benefited from the Erasmus program as a student of our university or currently benefiting from it.

Requirements for Photos:

• The photo must be taken horizontally.
• Each student can participate in the competition with only one (1) photo.
• The photo resolution must be at least 2560x1440 pixels.
• The file format must be JPEG or PNG.
• The file name must be arranged as the participant's name and surname.
• The file size must be a maximum of 100 MB.
• The photo is expected to reflect the Erasmus+ student's perspective.
• Photos that do not include the participant (for example, landscape photos) will not be evaluated.
• The photos must be associated with at least one of the themes of intercultural friendship, travel, education/internship abroad and cultural sharing.

Competition Prize:

A prize will be given to the owner of the first selected photo by our coordinatorship. The selected student will be contacted by phone or e-mail. The selection will be made by the evaluation committee assigned by our coordinatorship.

* Photos that do not meet the criteria will not be evaluated. The limited number of photos selected by the committee will be exhibited on the 1st day of the Erasmus Days 2024 event.
