how to apply?

Erasmus+ Studies at KTU

In order to apply for Erasmus+ studies at KTU, students must be nominated by their home university. When the nomination is received, the contact person from the KTU Office of Exchange Programmes will contact the nominee by e-mail and provide guidance on the application procedures.

Erasmus+ Traineeship at KTU

KTU offers several traineeship opportunities to incoming Erasmus+ students in its faculties, laboratories, and research centers.
If you are a student looking for a traineeship in the framework of Erasmus+ Programme, you can refer to our catalogue here. In case the catalogue does not include a suitable offer for your field but KTU has a relevant department or research center, you can still apply. For the application, please send an e-mail to the responsible person for incoming Erasmus+ students with your CV and transcript attached, and make sure to mention the suggested dates for the traineeship. When we receive your e-mail, we will contact the relevant department/research center and if you are accepted, we will guide you on the following steps.

TRABZON GUIDEBOOK FOR INCOMING ERASMUS+ STUDENTS

Mobility If you are a student coming to Trabzon for your Erasmus+ mobility, here is a very useful Trabzon guidebook for you. It has been collaboratively prepared by our former incoming Erasmus+ students as part of their traineeship project. The guidebook offers a lot of advice on a number of practical matters including the campus life, local transportation, places to visit, foods to try, where to go grocery shopping, or where to buy a simcard. Please click here to download the guidebook.

ERASMUS+ STAFF MOBILITY

Erasmus+ Staff Mobility has two mobility types:

1) Staff Mobility for Teaching Assignments
2) Staff Mobility for Training

If you are an academic or administrative staff working at a university in a EU member country or a third country associated to the Erasmus+ Programme, you can apply for an Erasmus+ staff mobility visit to KTU by contacting the responsible person for incoming Erasmus+ staff mobility at our office: international relations office.

Erasmus+ staff mobility participants are supposed to apply for Erasmus+ funding at their home university. Some universities may ask for an acceptance letter during the application process. If you already have the funding from your home university or are in the application process, please contact us to plan your visit to KTU. Upon receiving your e-mail, we will contact the relevant department at KTU. If their schedule is available for the planned visit, we will send you an acceptance letter and assist you for the approval of your mobility agreement.

According to the Erasmus+ Programme, there must be an inter-institutional Erasmus+ agreement between the sending and the receiving university for Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Teaching Assignments. If your university agrees, the IIA can be established.

Regarding Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Training, there is no such requirement; therefore, mobility is possible even without an inter-institutional Erasmus+ agreement between the universities.
