Universities are not only institutions that conduct education and research activities, but also key actors that directly contribute to society. The production of scientific knowledge, the cultivation of qualified human resources, the development of solution-oriented projects addressing local and national issues, and collaborations with public institutions constitute the fundamental components of this contribution. Through seminars, workshops, social responsibility activities, and consultancy services, universities significantly support public awareness, economic development, and the improvement of quality of life. In this respect, universities act as driving forces of social development, engaging in continuous and mutual interaction with the cities and regions in which they are located. Within this framework, several activities carried out by our department are presented below.
