Özgönül Aksoy computer aided design laboratory (OABDTL)

The Computer Laboratory within the Faculty of Architecture is used by undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students. The laboratory has 55 computers and has a usage area of 240 m². It is divided into sections such as a technical office, mechanical area, and material storage.

In 2006, the Computer-Aided Design Laboratory was named the "Özgönül Aksoy Computer-Aided Design Laboratory" in memory of Prof. Dr. Özgönül Aksoy. In this laboratory, undergraduate and graduate students from the three departments within the Faculty of Architecture are taught how to utilize information technology in their respective fields.

The computers in the laboratory are equipped with programs such as Autocad, Adobe Photoshop, ArchiCAD 16, Photospace, LayOut 2014, Sketchup 2014, SPSS 12.0, Style Builder 2014, and Autodesk 360. Users can work with these installed programs and access the internet.

Since its establishment, the Özgönül Aksoy Computer-Aided Design Laboratory, with its developed and updated hardware capacity, has played an important role in the educational process of the Faculty of Architecture.
