Horizon SBEP (Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership) Partnership Programme Project Support to Prof. Dr. Fatma TELLİ KARAKOÇ

The project, titled "Evaluation of Seafood Discards, Residues, and Unwanted Catches for the Production of Bioactive Protein Hydrolysates and High Value-Added Biomolecules (VASEACAD)", has been selected for funding as part of the prestigious SBEP Horizon Partnership Programme. Representing our university as the project coordinator, Prof. Dr. Fatma TELLİ KARAKOÇ will lead the research efforts focused on developing innovative and sustainable solutions for utilizing seafood processing waste and by-products.

The VASEACAD project aims to transform seafood discards and residues into bioactive protein hydrolysates and high-value biomolecules, contributing to waste reduction, sustainable resource use, and the advancement of the circular economy in the marine sector.
