KTU will take part in the 31st United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP31) with 40 projects selected for activities during the event. Hosted by Türkiye, the conference will be held in Antalya from November 9 to 20, 2026.

COP31 will bring together world leaders, scientists, business representatives, and non-governmental organizations to discuss global efforts to address climate change. As one of the world's most important climate gatherings, the conference is expected to welcome around 100,000 participants.

This year's COP31 Action Agenda will cover a wide range of topics, including Zero Waste, Oceans and Seas, Food Security, Climate-Resilient Cities, Youth and Education, Green Industrialization, and Clean Energy Transition.

With 40 projects accepted, KTU will have the opportunity to present its research and innovative solutions, exchange ideas with international participants, and explore new opportunities for collaboration.
