As part of the Science, Culture, and Art Week (BKS'25), held at our university between May 19–25, 2025, the 9th KTU and Career Promotion Fair is taking place on May 21–22, 2025, at the Prof. Dr. Osman Turan Culture and Congress Center. The fair aims to guide students and visitors who wish to make informed choices about their university and career paths.

The event is designed to provide middle and high school students from Trabzon and surrounding provinces with detailed information about academic departments and professions they may be considering for their higher education journey. Academic and administrative staff from relevant faculties and schools of our university are actively involved in the fair.

Departments from faculties and vocational schools including Dentistry, Pharmacy, Letters, Science, Economics and Administrative Sciences, Architecture, Engineering, Forestry, Health Sciences, Marine Sciences, and the Faculties of Technology in Of and Sürmene, as well as various vocational schools, are presenting their programs at designated booths. These booths allow students and visitors to explore academic offerings and career opportunities first-hand.

Each booth is equipped with tangible examples of the educational outputs from the respective departments, attracting strong interest. Students have the opportunity to interact directly with faculty members, ask questions, and receive in-depth information about programs and career paths.

Speaking at the event, our Rector Prof. Dr. Hamdullah ÇUVALCI stated:

"With the 9th KTU and Career Promotion Fair, we aim to offer guidance to students making university and career choices. The goal is to provide students with a visionary outlook and help them make informed decisions—ideally encouraging them to choose our university by learning more about our institution."
