Honor Award for Our Academic from the Turkish Physical Society
Prof. Dr. Mehmet ERTUÄžRUL, faculty member at the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, has been awarded the 2025 Honor Award by the Turkish Physical Society. He received this distinction in recognition of his outstanding contributions to promoting physics as a scientific discipline in Türkiye and for his efforts in raising awareness in the fields of science and technology. The certificate, signed by Prof. Dr. Baki AKKUÅž, President of the Turkish Physical Society, was formally presented to him.
Our Rector Prof. Dr. Hamdullah ÇUVALCI emphasized the importance of this award for KTU, stating “We are proud of all our academics who represent our university’s scientific productivity and academic vision on national and international platforms. I wholeheartedly congratulate Prof. Dr. Mehmet ErtuÄŸrul and wish him continued success.”
