Karadeniz Technical University has marked a remarkable achievement in the 2025 Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) placement results announced by ÖSYM. With an impressive 100% occupancy in associate degree programs and 99.77% in undergraduate programs, KTU reached an overall 99.84% enrollment rate—a strong indicator of the university’s academic excellence and reputation.

High Standards in Education

Rector Prof. Dr. Hamdullah ÇUVALCI celebrated the results, stating “With its mission as a research university, KTU pushes the boundaries of knowledge, supports innovation, and provides students with high-standard education thanks to its strong academic staff, modern infrastructure, and 5-year full accreditation. With a proud history of 70 years, our university continues to prepare future generations with a vision of discovery and innovation.”

Highlighting the university’s record enrollment, Rector ÇUVALCI added “Reaching a 99.84% overall enrollment rate is a clear reflection of the trust students and their families place in Karadeniz Technical University. With all quotas filled across faculties and schools, KTU once again reaffirmed its strong position in higher education for the 2025-2026 academic year.
