As a major step in its internationalization strategy, Karadeniz Technical University has officially joined the EURAXESS Network, which supports researcher mobility across Europe. The process, coordinated by KTU Office of International Relations, was launched in April with the signing of the EURAXESS Service Center Declaration by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Hamdullah ÇUVALCI, and has now been successfully completed. Within this scope, the EURAXESS Service Center has been established under the Office of International Relations.

Our Rector emphasized that the center will operate in cooperation with the European Commission and TÜBÄ°TAK EURAXESS Türkiye Coordination, stating: “By joining this network, our university positions itself as an active stakeholder within the European Research Area, reflecting our vision of internationalization. EURAXESS will further strengthen our identity as a ‘Researcher-Friendly University.’”

With this milestone, KTU has officially taken its place on the EURAXESS Türkiye Network map.
