At the "Artificial Intelligence, Digitalization, and Big Data Meeting" held at Istanbul Technical University, a decision was made to open one new department and two new programs at our university.

Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Hamdullah ÇUVALCI, attended the Artificial Intelligence, Digitalization, and Big Data Meeting held on AyazaÄŸa Campus at Istanbul Technical University (ITU). The meeting, with the participation of the President of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), Prof. Dr. Erol ÖZVAR, resulted in the decision to open new undergraduate and associate degree programs to meet the need for human resources in the fields of artificial intelligence, artificial intelligence solutions, digitalization, and big data. At the meeting, it was decided to open the Software Development Undergraduate Program and Associate Degree Programs of “Artificial Intelligence Operatorship” and “Electronics in Digital Transformation” within our university.

"Education Opportunities in Line with the Requirements of the Era"

In his evaluation regarding the matter, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Hamdullah ÇUVALCI, wished the newly opened undergraduate and associate degree programs success, stating, "Our university aims to provide our students with education opportunities in line with the requirements of the era by keeping up with the rapid changes in knowledge and technology. With the opening of the mentioned department and programs, our students will have the opportunity to acquire qualified knowledge and skills in areas such as Software Development, Artificial Intelligence, and Digital Transformation under the roof of Karadeniz Technical University and will progress towards becoming successful professionals in these fields. I am fully confident that our newly opened programs will contribute to our university and society."

According to the decision, the "Software Development" Undergraduate Program will be established within the Faculty of Science, and the "Artificial Intelligence Operatorship" and " Electronics in Digital Transformation " Associate Degree Programs will be established at the Department of Computer Technologies within the Araklı Ali Cevat Vocational School.
