The Faculty of Engineering at our university held its 3rd annual “Student Meeting” event, themed “Future Engineers Come Together,” which saw substantial participation. Attendees included university officials, industry representatives, faculty members, student club leaders, and students.

During the event, the Rector, Prof. Dr. Hamdullah ÇUVALCI, emphasized the importance of the gathering in supporting student development and exploring the multifaceted world of engineering. He highlighted the faculty’s significant contributions to the university’s achievements and underscored the importance of local and national production, urging students to contribute to the country’s progress through technological solutions. He also announced plans for a "Startup House" to provide 24/7 workspaces for engineering students.

Engineering Faculty Dean, Prof. Dr. GençaÄŸa PÜRÇEK, encouraged students to use their university experience to grow and transform into professionals who serve their country. The event included a plaque ceremony for student clubs and advisors who received awards in competitions. The day concluded with a tour of exhibition booths, allowing participants to exchange information and take commemorative photos.
