The 6th International Environmental Chemistry Congress was organized in collaboration with our university, the University of Valencia, and Sivas Cumhuriyet University.

Held at the Prof. Dr. Osman Turan Culture and Congress Center from November 5-8, 2024, the congress welcomed participation from our Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Ali TEMÄ°Z, academics, and guests.

In his speech at the congress, organized annually by the Chemists Association to address various topics in environmental chemistry, Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Ali TEMÄ°Z stated, "As environmental issues become increasingly complex, science and technology play a critical role in providing solutions. This congress offers an opportunity for representatives from academia, public sector, and industry to come together to produce advanced solutions in environmental chemistry, share knowledge, and develop approaches for problem-solving."

Describing the congress as an international platform, Prof. Dr. Ali TEMÄ°Z added, "As Karadeniz Technical University, we are pleased to host events like this to raise environmental awareness and support the development of eco-friendly technologies. We consider the research and discussions presented at this congress to be of great importance for our future."

The congress, which continued until November 8, 2024, provided a platform for representatives from academia, public, and industry sectors to exchange ideas on research and advancements in environmental chemistry and technology.
