Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Hamdullah ÇUVALCI, hosted the President of the Higher Education Quality Board (YÖKAK), Prof. Dr. Ümit KOCABIÇAK, in his office.

The President of the Higher Education Quality Board (YÖKAK), Prof. Dr. Ümit KOCABIÇAK, visited our university and met with our Rector, Prof. Dr. Hamdullah ÇUVALCI. During the visit, which was attended by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Halil Ä°brahim OKUMUÅž and the Advisor to the Rector Lect. Ali Haydar DOÄžU, our Rector Prof. Dr. Hamdullah ÇUVALCI provided information to YÖKAK President Prof. Dr. Ümit KOCABIÇAK about the academic and physical condition of our university and the Quality Assurance System. Our Rector emphasized the importance of "quality" in the institutional culture, aiming to make it a crucial component of our institution's identity.

Highlighting the significant role of KTU in regional development, YÖKAK President Prof. Dr. Ümit KOCABIÇAK stated, "KTU, which first achieved the status of 'Research University' and then 'Full Accreditation' status within a year, has further enhanced its brand value with this double label. Our perspective is to add depth to quality. If you can't measure, you can't manage. With our information technology-supported management approach, we continuously monitor institutional performance." YÖKAK President Prof. Dr. Ümit KOCABIÇAK thanked the entire KTU administration, through our Rector Prof. Dr. Hamdullah ÇUVALCI, for their gracious hospitality and detailed briefing.
